School Choice (Home Education, Personalized Education Plan, and Private School) students have several opportunities to participate in testing at their zoned school. School Choice students may sit for the PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, and the Spring State assessments. For information about the assessments, the windows, and registration, please click on the links below:
PSAT/NMSQT
For 9-12th grade students (can be used to fullfill the Algebra EOC graduation requirement)
Assesses reading, writing and language and mathematics components that focus on the knowledge and skills that are most essential for college and career readiness and success
Testing Window – October 1 – October 31*
Registration Deadline – (Registration for the Fall 2024-2025 PSAT has closed.)
Fee - $14.00 non-refundable registration/sitting fee

SAT
For 11th grade students who need to fulfill their Grade 10 English Language Arts or Algebra EOC graduation requirement
Measures literacy, numeracy and writing skills that are needed for academic success in college.
Testing Window – March 3 – March 28*

Fee - $38.50 non-refundable registration/sitting fee

Advanced Placement (AP) Testing
For 9th-12th grade School Choice students who wish to participate in AP testing
Standardized exams designed to measure how well the student has mastered the content and skills of a specific AP course
