This morning, at our school board meeting, we were honored to be presented with the Exemplary District recognition by the Commissioner of Education’s African American History Task Force (AAHTF)!
This prestigious designation is a direct reflection of the hard work, dedication, and passion of our educators, administrators, and district staff who have gone above and beyond to ensure that African American history is thoughtfully integrated into instruction. Their commitment to meaningful teaching, professional learning, and strong community partnerships has helped us earn this distinction—one that only 12 districts in the entire state have achieved!
This recognition belongs to our incredible team, whose efforts continue to make a lasting impact on our students and our community. Thank you for your dedication to education and for ensuring that African American history is not just a moment, but a continuous part of learning in Pasco County Schools.
