I had the incredible honor of attending the S.T.A.R. Awards, where we recognized the outstanding educators and staff who make a lasting impact on our students every day. From our Teachers of the Year nominees to our Principal, Assistant Principal, Administrator, Non-Instructional, and School-Related Personnel of the Year, every finalist represents the passion, dedication, and excellence that define Pasco County Schools.
Among the many incredible honorees, we proudly recognize Pasco County’s Teacher of the Year, Betty Skoglund, an incredible science teacher at Land O’ Lakes High School! Mrs. Skoglund’s unwavering commitment to student success and her innovative approach to science education make her an outstanding representative of the incredible educators in our district.
A heartfelt thank you to the Pasco Education Foundation for hosting this incredible event and for their continued support of our educators and students. Your dedication to fostering excellence in education is truly invaluable!
To all of our nominees and winners—thank you for your hard work, passion, and commitment. You are the heartbeat of our schools, and your impact extends far beyond the classroom.
Let’s continue to celebrate and support the educators and staff who shape the future of Pasco County!
