Student Vaccine Clinics Available – Summer 2021
The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County is teaming up with Pasco County Schools and Health Hero to offer free COVID-19 vaccinations to Pasco County children age 12 and older. Vaccinations also will be made available to children’s eligible family members. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to receive the vaccine.
Students who are fully vaccinated may be able to avoid being quarantined and excluded from the classroom due to exposure. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that if a fully vaccinated individual has been around someone who has COVID-19, they are not required to stay away from others or get tested unless they have symptoms.
The Pfizer vaccine will be available at several school locations around the county on June 21, 22, and 23. See the list below. Appointments are required to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
Simply fill out the registration form online and select from the available dates, times, and locations. You must complete an individual submission for your student AND every additional family member. The Pfizer vaccine is administered via two separate doses that must occur three weeks apart. When you make a reservation, you need to plan and ensure your availability for both dates and times in order to receive both doses of the Pfizer vaccine to be considered fully vaccinated.
The list below of dates, times, and locations includes the dates for both the first and second doses.
