JOB GOAL

Responsible for monitoring, collecting, and reporting student completion data to appropriate state and accreditation agencies to ensure program guidelines and requirements are being met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. These statements are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of those in this position.
  1. Monitor students as they progress through various programs to ensure compliance with licensure rules and regulations and accreditation agency requirements.
  2. Collect, prepare, and report student completion data as required by state and accreditation standards and guidelines.
  3. Monitor student progress as they advance through programs and follow up after they complete/leave school to determine whether they are working in a related field as required by accreditation agencies.
  4. Review licensure and course work requirements to ensure that school programs and students are meeting current rules, regulations, and expectations.
  5. Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career fairs, and community events.
  6. Assist students with resume writing, interview coaching, and other related job preparation skills.
  7. Regional travel required.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to understand rules and regulations pertaining to student completion and school accreditation process
  • Ability to compile data and prepare accurate reports
  • Operating knowledge of computer programs, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, orally and in writing, including electronic media
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, manage, and carry out duties efficiently and within established timeframes

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate degree from an accredited institution
  • Three years of related experience
  • OR
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of applicable rules and regulations governing student completion and school accreditation processes
  • Experience in public education

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. If the use of arm and/or leg controls require exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated as light work.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, talk and hear; stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Indoors and Outdoors: The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.

  • General office equipment, including personal computers, fax machines, copiers, telephones, etc.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District’s approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be established by the District.

Performance of the job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the School Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
