JOB GOAL

This employee is responsible for coaching and training of teachers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. These statements are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of those in this position.

Planning:

  1. Designing the intervention program so that it is consistent with the educational philosophy of the district.
  2. Continuing professional growth through participating in educational meetings and defined professional growth opportunities, reading profession literature, and exchanging ideas with others.
  3. Establishing a network/support system in planning and developing the program.
  4. Holding necessary meetings. e. Preparing a resource dispersal plan.

Programming:

  1. Collection and coordination of data.
  2. Establishing the intervention program.
  3. Providing training/coaching to others.
  4. Monitoring the progress of those trained.
  5. Attending related meetings.

Communication:

  1. Maintaining standards of mutually respectful interaction with school/district personnel.
  2. Responding to inquires or concerns in a timely manner.
  3. Providing time lines, calendars, and schedules.
  4. Preparing communiques both electronic and written as needed.
  5. Providing information to parents.

Reporting:

  1. Collecting and Analyzing data from those trained.
  2. Supplying progress reports to school/district personnel.
  3. Providing follow up data for teachers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

  • Instructional assignment in Pasco County
  • Satisfactory reference from current administrator
  • Minimum of 3 years successful teaching experience
  • Additional training/course work may be necessary.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid teacher certificate

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District’s approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be established by the District.

Performance of the job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the School Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
