JOB GOAL

Responsible for selecting and implementing evaluation models that align with professional standards and best practices. Responsible for preparing and compiling data for reports and interprets statistical data regarding student performance, full-time equivalency (FTE), or other requested data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Select and implement evaluation models for programs that align with professional standards and best practices.
  2. Apply appropriate analytic methods and interpret statistical data to determine effectiveness of programs and/or teacher impact on student performance.
  3. Analyze data using appropriate computer software, produce reports, and disseminate results.
  4. Assist in the preparation phases of projects and publications by analyzing data and creating reports to be presented to the Board and other stakeholders.
  5. Propose, coordinate, execute, and monitor program evaluations of district programs and initiatives.
  6. Deliver training and technical assistance in program evaluation and research to stakeholders.
  7. Provide presentations of results to various audiences.
  8. Consult with appropriate stakeholders for the planning, conducting, and reporting of program evaluations.
  9. Develop requests for proposals and selection process for external evaluations related to areas of responsibility or as assigned by supervisor.
  10. Coordinate and monitor evaluations conducted by outside evaluation groups to ensure completion within designated timelines.
  11. Support grant and data requests from internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with grant stipulations.
  12. Provide personnel with job-embedded professional development through sharing information and providing expertise regarding current trends and best practices that are directly related to their performance responsibilities.
  13. Ensure that updated documentation is produced and available for all processes directly related to the areas of responsibility as identified by the supervisor.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in the field of Statistics, Measurement, or related field
  • Graduate training in measurement and evaluation theory, concepts, and practice and in statistical methodology and procedures

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

  • None

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Doctorate from an accredited institution in the field of Statistics, Measurement, or related field
  • Three years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Three years’ experience in analyzing, interpreting, and delivering data and varying evaluation models

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. If the use of arm and/or leg controls require exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated as light work.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District’s approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be established by the District.

Performance of the job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the School Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
