JOB GOAL

Responsible for collaborating and communicating effectively with the District and the health and wellness centers. Communicate effectively with the onsite health and wellness centers personnel and district personnel to ensure accurate information and clear direction of efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. These statements are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of those in this position.
  1.  Serve as the liaison between the District and onsite health and wellness centers.
  2.  Communicate effectively with the onsite health and wellness centers personnel and district personnel to ensure accurate information and clear direction of efforts.
  3.  Develop guidelines and best practices to establish consistency and efficiency with standard processes.
  4.  Monitor, audit, and oversee invoicing and payments for onsite health and wellness centers.
  5.  Generate, analyze, and audit reports to resolve discrepancies.
  6.  Assist with preparation and implementation of wellness budget, policies, and procedures.
  7.  Develop and maintain confidential records and reports, as required, to track and assess employee participation, program incentives, costs, and benefits to the company.
  8.  Collaborate with onsite health and wellness centers regarding the ordering and billing of maintenance requests.
  9.  Design informative and motivating presentations and training programs.
  10.  Participate in development of short and long-range strategic planning related to all onsite health and wellness programs and operations.
  11.  Attend training workshops or meetings required by the District to keep abreast of current technology and trends, new developments in the industry, best practices, government regulations, and legal requirements affecting the school system, and propose changes, if appropriate.
  12.  Provide customer and employee support as needed.
  13.  Participate on various committees relating to health and wellness.
  14.  Performs other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Operating knowledge of computer programs, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Ability to maintain accuracy of data in systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, orally and in writing, including electronic media
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, manage and carry out duties efficiently and within established timeframes
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate degree from an accredited institution in the field of Business Administration, or related field
  • Three years of related experience
  • OR
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience managing a physician’s office or wellness center

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, talk, and hear; stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Indoors and Outdoors: The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.

General office equipment, including personal computers, fax machines, copiers, telephones, etc.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District’s approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be established by the District.

Performance of the job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the School Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
