Where can I find the new bell times?

They are available on the school district website.

When do the changes in school starting times take effect?

The changes in school starting times will take effect on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. That is the first day back for students after the Winter Break.

How long will the new bell times remain in effect?

The new bell times will be reviewed at the end of the school year, prior to any decisions about bell times for the 2022-2023 school year.

When will bus stop times be available?

The are available now in myStudent.

Will PLACE open earlier, since my student’s school start time is now earlier?

We do not anticipate needing to open PLACE earlier, as PLACE currently is open from  6:30 a.m. until school starts and then again from dismissal until 6:00 p.m.

Will PLACE be opening additional locations?

PLACE does not plan to open additional locations for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year. PLACE will continue to offer transportation from school sites that do not have PLACE locations to sites that offer PLACE.

How will this affect early release days?

Early release will continue to be two hours earlier than the regular afternoon bell time.

Will the changes affect the start times for Adult Education classes?

The new bell times are not expected to have an impact on Adult Education classes.
