Metropolitan Ministries is partnering with Pasco County Schools to support families in need for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They have trained every social worker in the county to be able to register families for a Thanksgiving meal in November and a holiday meal and toys in December. 

Families then pick up their food at one of three locations in the county at their scheduled time. This effort does not require your school to collect or distribute anything.

Pick up sites are below:

• Restored Hope (Dade City)
• First United Methodist Church (Land O’ Lakes)
• Metropolitan Ministries Pasco (Holiday)

Schools interested in offering this to families in need should contact Bill Stone, Associate Director of Outreach for Metropolitan Ministries to get set up. Distribution to families starts November 21, so please contact Bill before November 8 to ensure your families are included.
