Pasco County Schools is pleased to announce the successful unveiling of the biking safety initiative in collaboration with Johns Hopkins Hospital, aimed at prioritizing the safety of our student cyclists. The event showcased new safety signs at each school's bike area and emphasized the importance of wearing helmets while riding.
Superintendent Kurt Browning expressed, "The safety of our students is paramount, and initiatives like these reinforce our dedication to ensuring a secure environment for our young riders. Together with Johns Hopkins, we empower our students to make safe choices and enjoy biking responsibly."
The event, held at Charles S. Rushe Middle School, was a resounding success, attracting community members and stakeholders who shared in our commitment to promoting bike safety among our youths.
