LAND O LAKES, FL - We are excited to give an update to our R.A.C.E. to Read challenge for the '23-'24 school year. Our goal is simple: collectively reading 15 million minutes as a district-wide community. We believe we can achieve amazing things by coming together and embracing the joy of reading.
Our students are working hard! We have over one million minutes logged already and want to keep pushing to 15 million minutes!
Everyone Can Participate!
The R.A.C.E. to Read Pasco reading challenge is open to all students and staff members in Pasco County Schools. Regardless of your age or role within the district, we invite you to join us on this incredible journey toward a greater love for books and literacy.
How Can You Make a Difference?
Participating in the challenge is easy. By dedicating just 30 minutes daily to reading, you will contribute significantly towards our 15-million-minute goal. We encourage everyone to log their reading minutes using the Beanstack app on the myPascoConnect dashboard. Logging your minutes has never been simpler!
Logging Your Students Reading Minutes Made Easy!
Follow these simple steps for Pasco County Schools Parents to log your reading minutes on the Beanstack app:

Find the Beanstack app on the myPascoConnect dashboard.

Select "R.A.C.E. to Read Pasco!"

Click on "Log Reading" to start the timer or use the calendar to log past minutes.

Enter the book title and log your reading.
By taking these small but meaningful actions, you will contribute to our collective goal and inspire others to embark on their reading journey.
