Together We Stand Anti-Bullying Event for Student Leaders

This post was created on 07/01/2024.

In a concerted effort to combat bullying and promote kindness, the Pasco County School District proudly hosted the "Together We Stand" event earlier this week. This exceptional training session was designed to empower our current and future student leaders with the knowledge and tools they need to stand up against bullying.

"Together We Stand" is an incredible opportunity for students to learn about the importance of anti-bullying initiatives and the power of kindness. During the event, students embraced critical strategies to support one another, identify signs of bullying, and stand up to those who engage in such behavior.

"We are so proud of our student leaders for their commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment," said Kurt Browning, Superintendent of Pasco County Schools. "By equipping our students with these essential skills, we create a community where every student feels respected and valued."

The Pasco County School District takes bullying very seriously and is dedicated to providing invaluable training opportunities for its students. Events like "Together We Stand" reflect our ongoing commitment to creating a positive and inclusive school culture.
