• Kids enrolled in New Worlds Reading receive:​

  • 9 high-quality books each year through fifth grade, with the potential to receive up to 63 free books if they enroll starting in VPK!​

    • Each year, families and students can choose which books the students want to read. ​

    • Whether it’s delivering tried-and-true classics to students before they read them in the classroom or new favorites, you can expect each enrolled student to receive a monthly book delivery that’s curated to them.​

  • Literacy resources and activities for families and caregivers to participate in reading with children and strengthen language interactions and conversation skills. ​

• All books meet Florida B.E.S.T. standards and supplemental resources reinforce science of reading strategies.​

• Once enrolled, eligible kids remain in the program automatically through fifth grade, even if their reading scores improve!​

• Books and resources are available in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and braille.​

• This at-home literacy program was created in June 2021 by the Florida legislature, receiving bipartisan support. ​

  • Due to state funding and continued donor support, these resources are 100% free to all eligible students.​
