Aspiring Assistant Principal LEAD Program

Target Audience 

Current Teacher Leaders or Coaches

General Description

This 6-session course is designed for those that want to learn more about the leadership skills required of a school-based administrator. Participants will Learn about strengths and how to leverage them in your work as a school leader, learn about, practice, and refine your practice according to the competencies in Pasco’s Leadership Development Framework, grow yourself as a leader and refine your skills, prepare for the AP eligibility pool and an AP job in Pasco County, make connections with leaders across the county, and build a network of support

This course is for teacher leaders or coaches that want to transition to a school-based leadership position. 

Course Recommended Prerequisites  

  • Lead for Teacher Leader 
  • Lead for Aspiring Coaches 
  • Clinical Educator Training highly recommended (Principal recommendation required for Clinical Educator Training)
