J. W. Mitchell High School

I am incredibly grateful to JW Mitchell Band teachers Mr. Hobbs, Mr. Middlebrook, and all the parents that dedicate so much time to ensure all students have an outstanding experience. The structure, fun, friendship, and skill development that my daughter has experienced through this program is hands down the best. Thank you for having such a strong program that has allowed for so much growth bother personally and academically.

Starkey Ranch K-8 School

During the Read-a-thon, Mrs. Blynt created a book tasting opportunity.

She decorated her class as a restaurant, with table clothes, center pieces and all the details, and created an special environment for the kids to "taste" new books. It created a great impression on my daughters and inspire her to read more.

After Schools Enrichment Programs

Afterschool Enrichment Programs have long been an enriching and indispensable pieces of Pasco students' educational journies. Mary Grey, who is retiring in January 2023, has served students for over 30 years- and she brought PLACE to life as a Before and After School Program conveniently located IN schools to best serve students are families. Mary created a vision and a mission for Before and After School Programs that was eventually absorbed as a fully functioning department by the Pasco County School Board- one of the only enterprise departments within the district, with all monies funneled back to students in ASEP programs and the School Board.
Many Pasco County staff have served students, but Mary Grey has gone above and beyond for her entire career to create and execute a plan to serve our Pasco kids best before and after their classroom education ends- closing a gap for thousands of Pasco families each year.
