Hudson High School
Emmanuel is an exceptional student who strives to succeed in the highest academic courses at HHS. Having a 4.32 weighted GPA, he's ranked amongst the top 7% of seniors in the district. Emmanuel is in the Cambridge Programme and has earned 15 college credits, with an opportunity to earn 12 more. He has represented HHS in the JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl at the national level, earning the General Marshall and MacArthur awards.
Emmanuel has held several leadership positions throughout JROTC, Student Government (SGA), and band. His responsibilities in JROTC includes commanding a squad, platoon, company, and battalion, as well as drill team captain. In SGA he has held positions as president, vice president, and secretary. Throughout his time in band, he has acted as brass captain and band manager. He has been elected as president of several clubs including dance, thespian, glee, and art club.
Emmanuel has a passion for providing for our local community and families in need. He works alongside Toys for Tots, ensuring children have gifts for holidays and birthdays. He volunteers at our local recreational center, supplying families with food, gifts, and experiences. Emmanuel assists local veterans at the Elks Lodge, providing conversation, entertainment, and supplying them with food. Most recently, he has taken the lead in collecting donations for those affected by Hurricane Ian.
Emmanuel’s drive to create positive change for HHS is incomparable. One example of this is his commitment to improve the JROTC battalion by creating study guides to ensure JLAB (JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl) will continue to thrive at state and national competitions. Emmanuel’s enthusiasm allows others to believe that their success is possible. It is his dedication to his school and community that will allow HHS to thrive for years to come.
