Hudson High School
Dayja is an outstanding student who strives to succeed everyday at Hudson High School. She currently has a weighted 3.58 GPA and is ranked amongst the top 14% of her class. She has engaged in honors as well as Pre-AICE and AICE courses, earning A’s & B’s in each class. During senior year, Dayja sets her mind every day to be a high achieving student earning a 4.0 GPA in Quarter 1.
Dayja’s passion for Color Guard has led her to a multitude of leadership opportunities that she utilizes at Hudson High. Dayja’s ability to lead her team have been praised by USF Auxiliary coaches! She is proud of herself stating she “goes all in” each day as she leads the Color Guard team to success, earning Superiors under her command. It is her drive to lead her team that keeps Dayja focused on her overall success!
Dayja has a passion for assisting her local community by organizing and promoting events that bring her neighbors together. Due to the large amount of special populations in her neighborhood, she sets up support groups in order to bring people together to assist one another. She is currently facilitating a group for men and women diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, an ailment currently affecting her father.
Dayja is not only passionate about Color Guard during this school year, her focus is on its longevity! Her drive to enhance the future Color Guard program speaks to her dedication to Hudson High. Though she is graduating, she spends her time working with underclassmen, ensuring their skills are enhanced and their self-worth is healthy. It is her passion and enthusiasm that will allow the future of our Color Guard program to thrive!
