Wiregrass Ranch High School
Tristan is an aspiring biomedical engineering major focused on pediatric oncology research. She maintains a 4.5574 weighted GPA while taking a full slate of advanced course work. Tristan has earned her AP Capstone diploma, is an AP Scholar with distinction, and has been an International Research Olympiad semifinalist. She has also been an International Science/Engineering Fair finalist, a 4th place grand award winner, and earned Best in Show at the regional STEM fair.
Tristan has served in leadership roles for a variety of academic organizations, honors societies, and athletic teams. Particular highlights include President of the Orchestra, Key Club, and Girls Who Code. She has been captain of the Girls Varsity Golf Team and founded the WRHS chapter of MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement).
Tristan has led and worked with a variety of service organizations including Key Club, Student United Way, Y.A.C.H.T. service club throughout her years at WRHS. Her academic research around pediatric oncology is also designed with service in mind in that her focus is to develop innovative solutions that will improve quality of life for pediatric cancer patients.
Tristan is an excellent example of outstanding citizenship in her work with volunteer organizations, work with MESA, and environmental research. Tristan is also recognized by her peers and the WRHS staff as a particularly positive citizen of the WRHS community. | |
