Congratulations to Mr. Bintz, Mrs. Lightbody and Troupe 88135 for being selected to represent District 11 in the State competition in February after their amazing work during the two-day District 11 Jr. Thespian Festival that took place at RRMS in the beginning of November!

I am thankful that we can be together as a family. The teachers and staff at Moon Lake Elementary have been amazing helping me as a single mom trying to figure out what is best for my special needs son. He has appointments and misses school but they are great with accommodations.

Myself and a group of like-minded teachers hosted an event to introduce students to career opportunities with Pasco County Fire Rescue, Department of Corrections and Pasco County Sheriff's office, as well as PHSC Fire Academy. The event was engaging and interactive, and a huge success! All of the agencies have requested to do it again next year, with ideas for even more involvement! Scotty's Pizzeria provided an amazing lunch for the 250+ student participants as well as all of the adults.

Our wonderful student spirit committee at JLMS collaborated and created a gratitude week prior to Thanksgiving break. Here are a few students participating on Thursday where the theme was dress like a senior citizen, and they wrote thank you notes to teachers.
