Thank you to everyone who have participated in the “Share Your Joy” campaign!
Words cannot fully explain how Kathy has impacted my life for the better. She was a teacher at Quail Hollow and Wesley Elementary schools for 26 years. She is one of the reasons I am currently a teacher, through her guidance. While she may have been the Susan Lucci for teacher of the year, for me, she’ll be the teacher of a lifetime.
Submitted by Mica HillsOur Corporal is the best! He inner acts, and creates a sense of safety, and love for our students. We love our Corporal, and we are blessed to have him!
Submitted by Sharon MacleidI would like to give a shout out to Ms. Susan Jenkins at Trinity Oaks Elementary. When my oldest son Sammie has with Ms Jenkins for 1st grade, we fell in love with her. She is kind, understanding, welcoming, and a true nurturer. Sammie would tell me often how he was nervous and anxious and she was always there to calm him and set him on the right path for his education. He is now in 10th grade at Mitchell and he still loves to stop by and thank her and show appreciation. After Sammie I had 2 more sons enter Trinity Oaks. Both of them met Ms Jenkins in kindergarten and they were just as impressed and obsessed as my oldest. She taught my youngest Jaxx in Kindergarten and that was the crazy Covid year, but she adapted and handled on line teaching amazingly. We really love that we can go to the school and see her during activities and always know we can count on a hug and a huge smile from Ms. Jenkins. She is truly a gem!
Submitted by Tifanie PappasMr Jamie Lopey is a highlight in the children’s day! They tell him they love him and he tells them back! They are always so excited to see him early in the morning and throughout the day! He’s always there making sure they are safe and the campus is well maintained! He is so much more than the plant supervisor. He is like a guardian Angel!
Submitted by Jessica ReddingMy son went to Gulf Side Elementary in Holiday and he had a teacher called Ms. Dykes. This teacher left such an impact on my son. My son currently suffers from ADHD and ODD. She knew exactly how to deal with him. Till this day he mentions her and tells me how much he loves her and misses her. Her actions and ways with my son definitely made an impact we truly need more teachers like her and Pasco county and all around the world.
Submitted by Betzaida GarciaWe love Corporal at Hudson Middle school. I'm a grandmother and have raised two grandkids that both went through Hudson Middle School. They did not have a father image. Corporal made them feel safe. I must say that he is the first officer I have ever trusted. He is amazing with all the kids very understanding helpful and kind. And they all love him!!
Submitted by Kira CooperI just wanted to say how amazing and incredible of a teacher Mrs. Hann is. My son was so nervous for kindergarten. His teacher quickly changed that for him! He LOVES her so much and tells me stories about their day. He says she is so nice. It makes my heart so happy that he is so happy and now loves school because of her. So Mrs. Hann, me and Trenton say THANK YOU for being such a great role model and teacher!
Submitted by Nicole GarrowMrs. Wells has been a gift to our family as she works endlessly to help Liam learn how to read this year. She gives positive and constructive feedback in the kindest of ways and we’re very greatful for her this year for first grade!
