To get started, choose the academic school year you wish to attend, and follow steps 1-3.
2025-2026 School Year
Child must be 4 years old by 9/1/2025
Step 1: Create a Family Portal: Sign up and apply for the VPK Certificate of Eligibility (COE) at https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com/
Step 2: Download Your COE: Once received, download and save the PDF of your COE from your Family Portal.
Step 3: Click this link to apply for a Pasco Schools VPK Program
Note that space is limited, and applications are processed in the order received.
The VPK Application window is currently closed. The notification window from the January window is March 3-12.

Summer VPK 2025
The Summer VPK program provides 300 hours of instruction to age-eligible Pasco County children who did not participate in a 540-hour school year VPK or Head Start program and who will be going into kindergarten in the fall of 2025. Summer VPK Certificates are available now- see Step 1 below to apply for yours now.
The Summer VPK Application Window is currently CLOSED.
How to apply for 2025 Summer VPK
Step 1: Create a family portal and apply for the Summer VPK Certificate of Eligibility (COE) at the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco & Hernando.
Step 2: Download the PDF of your COE from your family portal at the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco & Hernando. (Please allow sufficient processing time.)
Step 3: Apply for VPK: The Summer VPK Application window is currently closed. Email questions to pascovpk@pasco.k12.fl.us.
