Fall 2026 Registration
Eligible dual enrollment students should utilize the Fall 2026 PHSC DE Registration Worksheet to find important dates and to make plans for Summer dual enrollment coursework. In order for students to be able to register online during their assigned time, students and parents/guardians must meet the deadlines listed on the online registration worksheet. Below are a few important reminders when planning for Summer Dual Enrollment.

Testing Update:
PHSC Testing Services administers common placement tests on campus and through virtual proctoring. Students may schedule an exam at https://testing.phsc.edu/schedule-exam/exam. Click here for FAQs.

For Dual Enrollment textbook drop-off and pick-up locations, dates, and times, please see the flyer.
Dual Enrollment grades are reported in the PHSC platform Banner. Due to FERPA guidelines, parents of college students, including dual enrollment, do not have access to this platform unless the student shares this information. Grades for dual enrollment courses taken on the high school campus are also kept in the Banner platform and not in myStudent. Please talk with your student to gain access to grades.
Students must meet the following eligibility criteria per Section 1007.271(3), F.S.:
Students must maintain at least a 3.0 unweighted high school GPA and the 2.0 postsecondary GPA specified in the Dual Agreement Articulation Agreement for continued eligibility to participate in college credit dual enrollment courses. Students may be removed from dual enrollment courses if their GPA falls below the required 3.0. If you are unsure if your student meets the above criteria, please contact your school counselor.
Course Description
This course offered through Pasco Hernando State College (PHSC) emphasizes study in four specificareas of college readiness: problem solving,intellectual openness, time management, andpersistence. The purpose of this course is tohelp students develop the attitudes and skillsnecessary to be successful in college. This course, if passed will earn a student college credit.
Pasco Student Eligibility
Be enrolled as a Pasco County high school junior or senior
Have a minimum 2.5 unweighted cumulative high school GPA
Demonstrate college-level placement in reading as evidenceby an approved standardized placement assessment (PERT,ACCUPLACER, ACT Reading, CLT, Digital SAT, SAT, or anotherstate-approved instrument) for placement into ENC1101.
PERT – Reading: 106-150
ACCUPLACER Next Generation – Reading: 256-300
ACT Reading: 19-36
CLT – Sum of the Verbal Reasoning and Grammar/WritingSections: 38-80
Digital SAT–Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Section:490-800
SAT – Reading Test: 24-40
