JOB GOAL

Responsible for coordinating the distribution, collection, and storage of test materials, ensuring materials are organized and maintained for the implementation and administration of state and district testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Coordinate the distribution and collection of testing and related materials to and from schools to ensure proper control and integrity of tests as required by law.
  2. Provide support for various testing programs, including preparation of materials and scanning completed tests.
  3. Generate student assessment and progress monitoring reports as required by federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  4. Follow established testing timelines, adhering to federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
  5. Organize the storage and inventory of standardized test materials in an orderly manner.
  6. Coordinate with testing vendors, printers, and support personnel to ensure testing timelines are met.
  7. Provide support to schools and test coordinators with assessment material needs and reply to any testing related questions or concerns.
  8. Assist with training school based personnel and other employees on testing procedures to ensure process integrity and compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  9. Maintain confidential student information and data related to testing.
  10. Answer phone calls, provide general information and assistance, and route calls to appropriate personnel.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Thorough knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Operating knowledge of computer programs, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, orally and in writing, including electronic media
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, manage and carry out duties efficiently and within established timeframes
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree from an accredited institution
  • Related experience in a testing assessment environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. If the use of arm and / or leg controls require exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated as Light Work.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, talk and hear; stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Indoors: The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions. There is protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.

  • General office equipment, including personal computers, fax machines, copiers, telephones, etc.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District’s approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be established by the District.

Performance of the job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the School Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
