Sunlake High School
I am ranked 1 in my class with a 4.71 GPA and will graduate with my AA degree from PHSC. Additionally, I earned a 1580 on the SAT which has recognized me as a National Merit Scholar Semifinalist. I also participate in competitions such as Financial Statement Analysis at the state level and the American Math Competition. My dedication has led to honors including Carson’s Scholarship Program recipient and AP Scholar with Distinction.
As president of Mu Alpha Theta, I tutor students across all levels and organize activities to foster a love for math. Additionally, I served as an officer in Future Business Leaders of America, Science Honor Society, and Student Council. In these roles, I led club meetings, managed finances, communicated with sponsors and members, demonstrated monthly science experiments, and planned school-wide events. I also enjoy leadership on the Sunlake basketball team and church youth service.
My most valuable experience was volunteering under Dr. Davis, where I gained skills such as preparing instruments and mixing pain medication. Following up and helping patients post-operation impressed me with the power of empathy in patient care. I also hosted a district science fair where I evaluated students' projects and helped refine their pitches. I have accumulated 204 service hours as a basketball camp counselor, guest pianist for metropolitan ministries, and various other initiatives.
I make an effort to support my school and community in any role with enthusiasm. I annually serve as an ambassador for freshman and in-house orientation greeting families, leading tours, and distributing refreshments. As a front office assistant, I make school-wide intercom announcements, sign-in visitors, file paperwork, and answer calls. Overall, I am very involved on campus and prioritize treating all faculty, guests, and students with respect.
