Clinical Educator Training:
To register for Clinical Educator Training, candidates must have a minimum of three years of teaching experience, with a record of Effective and/or Highly Effective evaluations, along with a recommendation from their principal.
A Clinical Educator Refresher Course is also available for educators who completed the training more than five years ago. Attendance in the refresher course likewise requires a principal’s recommendation.
For more information about upcoming Clinical Educator Training sessions, please contact Jeremy Blair at jdblair@pasco.k12.fl.us or search for “Clinical Education” in the myPGS course catalog.
Mentor Program:
To serve as a qualified mentor, you must complete the Clinical Educator Training. If you have already completed the Clinical Educator course, a refresher is required every five years. Mentors receive a stipend each semester and are expected to submit weekly logs in myPGS documenting the activities completed with their mentee.
