The goals of the Pasco County Migrant Education Program are to ensure that:

• Migrant students whose families have moved at any time in the last three years to seek/obtain work in agriculture, packing, fishing, dairy, livestock or forestry, and are between three and twenty-one years old, are offered academic and/or social services. These high-quality services will help migrant students meet the same state content and student performance standards expected of all children
• Migrant students benefit from assistance to coordinated services to overcome cultural and language barriers, address social isolation, and have appropriate access to health-related services,
• Parents of migrant children are meaningfully involved in efforts to improve the academic performance of their children, and migrant students are prepared for post-secondary education or employment.

Las metas del Programa para la Educación de Estudiantes Migratorios del condado de Pasco garantizarán que:

• A los estudiantes migratorios cuyas familias se han mudado en cualquier momento en los últimos tres años buscando trabajo o que tienen trabajo en la agricultura, empacadoras, pesca, lechería, ganadería o siembra y cosecha de árboles, y que tengan entre tres y veintiuno años de edad, se les ofrezcan gratuitamente educación académica y/o servicios sociales. • Los estudiantes migratorios estarán preparados para educación post-secundaria y para empleo

• Assist with registration from Pre-K through 12th grade
• Provide school supplies and access to computers
• Monitor attendance, progress reports and report cards
• Direct classroom support from the Migrant Instructional Assistant
• Promote/coordinate Parent Conference(s)
• Parent Advisory Council
• Offer credit accrual through Portable Assisted Study Sequence (PASS)
• Assistance with Scholarships and Post-Secondary Education
• Offer Drop-out Prevention option
• Referral to HEP/High School Equivalency Program at USF
• After School Programs
• Summer School Programs 

Social Services:

• Counseling
• Advocacy
• Referral to Health Services
• Assistance with Food and Clothing
• Student/Family Transportation
• Spanish Translating and Interpreting Services
• Referral to Community Agencies
