Attention: Fall Morning and Tuesday and Thursday Evening ESOL Classes Full at PHSC–Dade City
We regret to inform you that the Fall ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes scheduled from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, as well as the Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the PHSC–Dade City location are now full. As a result, we are no longer accepting applications for these specific time slots.
However, we do have other class times available, and we encourage you to select from those options. Please contact our office or visit our website to view the current schedule and register for a different time that works for you.
Please note: If you submit and complete an application for any of the full sessions listed above, you will not be enrolled, and no refunds will be issued.

This open enrollment program is designed for adults whose first language is not English and who desire to develop skills in speaking, listening, reading, and/or writing. Students who attend classes may receive instruction in the following areas:
Classes are offered in a scheduled, classroom environment with progressive (beginning, intermediate, and advanced) levels of instruction that includes grammar structure, reading, writing, listening, speaking, and living skills to help the non-English speaker familiarize themselves with the English language and build the skills needed for many areas of American life, including entering the job market, building and/or enhancing workforce communication, everyday communication, and/or continue their education.
Students are encouraged to enroll in other academic and vocational classes upon completion of ESOL classes.
Admissions
Students must be 16 years of age or older and formally withdrawn from a regular high school program.
Students will be assessed at the State-mandated tuition of $30 per term with a $2.00 Convenience Fee (Fall, Spring, and Summer). All applications are non-refundable.
New students will take the CASAS exam to be evaluated in basic reading and listening skills before enrollment to determine proper educational placement in classes. This testing is required for admission, please use the appropriate link to schedule your assessment below.
