Our School Health Team is made up of Registered School Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Clinic Assistants who work together to support student health and learning.
Registered School Nurses protect and improve student health by identifying and reducing health‑related barriers to learning. They provide expert guidance on student health needs and collaborate closely with families, school staff, medical providers, and community partners. Registered nurses also lead the school health team by delegating and providing oversight to Licensed Practical Nurses, clinic assistants, and trained school staff who assist with daily health services.
Licensed Practical Nurses provide direct school health services in our medical skilled units to ensure students’ ongoing and specialized health needs are met each day.
Clinic Assistants support students’ daily health needs under the direction of a Registered School Nurse. Clinic assistants help keep clinics running smoothly and serve as an important link between students, families, and the school health team.
Our Commitment: We are committed to ensuring all students receive timely, respectful, and compassionate care so they can remain healthy, safe, and ready to learn.
